Sausage + Korea ?



순대, Soondae(Sun-dae)

A Korean dish made generally by boiling or steaming cow or pig's interstines that are stuffed with various inredients.
It is a kind of blood sausage and believed to have eaten for a long time.

1. Sausage vs. Soondae?

- Both have many kinds of taste (squid, tofu, beef, vegetable, barley, glutinous rice and etc.)
- Can make another food by using Soondae
(Soondae boiled rice soup/ Soondae stir-fry/ Soondae stew)

2. Other food.meal vs. Soondae?

- Soondae is reasonably cheap, so it is for the common peaple.
- Soondae is tasty and can feel satisfied with it easily.

3. Traditional vs. Modern?

- Soondae has been eaten by Korean since 1809.
- Because it has highly nutritious ingredients, it is loved by the common people.
